CRICKETS SHED THEIR SKIN.
Dont be alarmed if you see "white" crickets in the tank. This simply means they have shed their skin because they are growing too big for the old one. This is a very vulnerable time for the cricket because the other ones will often attack, kill then eat these "fresh" crickets because their skin is still very soft. EG of the difference in colour..
DONT MISTAKE POO FOR EGGS
The cricket poo and the eggs are very similar in shape and size. However cricket poo is black.brown whereas the eggs are clear/cream.

DISEASES / PROBLEMS
There have been 2 diseases/problems i have come across with my crickets.
Sometimes the crickets back legs become paralised and they cant walk properly.
Another problem which may be a disease is that the cricket loses all movement, its back legs and body begin to shrink, leaving dead and dying skin and the head area swells up. Within about 4-5 days the cricket dies. I am yet to find out what this is but it is very rare (Ive only had 2 cases of this when i have had crickets for about 2 yrs)
